Tubing Sleeves
• For connecting capillary tubing to standard, coned ports
• Manufactured from PEEK™ and FEP
• Available sleeve ODs include .025", 1/32" and 1/16" for capillary ODs ranging from 70 um to 1 mm
Often, there is a need to connect capillary tubing to receiving ports designed for larger tubing – e.g., 360 µm OD tubing into a 10-32 coned port originally designed for 1/16" OD tubing. Rather than offer customized ferrules for every possible port and capillary tubing size combination, IDEX Health & Science offers Upchurch Scientific® tubing sleeves. Because they are prepared using our in-house extruded tubing, our sleeves provide better concentricity and easy insertion of capillary tubing. Additionally, by using a sleeve instead of a modified ferrule, dead volume in the receiving port is minimized, ensuring better results.

Upchurch Scientific MicroTight&trade Tubing Sleeves feature an outer diameter of .025" and offer a wide assortment of inner diameters to help facilitate capillary tubing connections with our MicroTight accessories. Because the sleeves are manufactured from PEEK polymer, they carry an upper temperature threshold of 125 °C .
