If you are looking for a bottle cap that is quick and easy and still gives you plenty of options options — look no further.

These Upchurch Scientific® caps are manufactured of inert Tefzel® (the white, inner part) and polypropylene (the colored, outer part), and they fit the standard GL-45 and smaller-neck GL-38 bottles. They are pressure rated at 15 psi.

We provide three holes in each cap insert that have no stops. With two of the holes, you simply push your tubing through. The third hole accepts any male luer or our A-626* tapered plug (except the A-610 and A-610B**). As an alternative try our A-627 or A-629 Filter Bottle Cap Plugs in the extra hole. The 20um stainless frit in these plugs prevents foreign matter from contaminating the solvent while leaving the bottle open to the atmosphere. This allows fluid to be pulled out without creating a vacuum (generally not used with sparging applications).

To use 1/32" OD tubing with our caps, insert the P-600 Adapter into a 1/8" cap hole. Then connect your 1/32" tubing with one of our F-126 or F-126H MicroTight® Fittings
